DESCRIPTION:CMANC’s Washington Meeting 2027 \nWe are waiting for the 120th Congressional Calendar for 2027 to be posted. \nOur preferred dates for Washington are Tuesday and Wednesday\, February 23 & 24\, 2027. \nIf Congress is not in session those dates our backup dates are Tuesday and Wednesday\, February 9 & 10\, 2027. \n\nDay 1 – Tuesday  We are scheduling meetings at Corps’ HQ\, OMB\, and other federal agencies. Which agencies do you want to meet with?  Tell Jim who you want to meet with and what you want to talk about!\nDay 2 – Wednesday During the day\, we will be on Capitol Hill educating Members of Congress and staff on the value of investing in California’s system of ports and harbors. During the evening\, we will attend the Golden State Reception. Tell Jim who you want to meet with and what you want to talk about!\n\nWe will NOT be having a group of rooms at any particular hotel this year.  Some of our members are not able to pay the prices that the hotels in the Capitol Hill area are charging.  And\, last year we had some issues with the block being full and members couldn’t get a room\, to the block not being full and attrition being charged.  Hotels in the area of Capitol Hill include Phoenix Park Hotel\, Yotel\, Hilton\, Hyatt Regency\, Sonesta\, and Hotel George. \nRegistration and Sponsorship information will be coming.
